Today was my last full day in North Carolina.. Bittersweet to say the least. Tomorrow I jump into my dad's honda at 5am and drive to Raleigh airport to fly to Dulles Airport in Washington DC.
I said goodbye to my best friend in the world today. But it was an awesome goodbye because we got to watch Duke cream UNC in the ACC Tournament. It's really hard to say good-bye to people but like my grandma says, every good thing in your life comes with some sacrifices.
After watching the news for hours and days I was really worried about my host family from Japan. I shot them an email and I was happy to hear back from the mom telling me that all was well with her family and sent me these adorable pictures of Rikuu and Kouna.
